A recent video which surfaced online shows a bunch of men bullying their way into a screening of The Kerala Story in a theatre in the UK and arguing heatedly and aggressively with the audience.
The intention is clearly to disrupt the screening.
Responding to the video Sudipto says, “One of the men who created the ruckus in the UK theatre, is a well-known radical Muslim leader. I am not surprised at all that he did this. Because, by doing this, they are making the case stronger. Only Jihadis and radicals are opposing my film.”

Ever since The Kerala Story was released it has been targeted by certain sections as being ‘anti-Islamic.’
However, both the director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Shah have maintained that their film is anti-terrorism and not anti-Islam.
